Baltic amber has been used in folk medicine for centuries to soothe the pain of teething. It is believed that the child's body warms the amber, releasing oils containing succinic acid. The theory is that the succinic acid is absorbed into the bloodstream, helping to relieve the child's pain.  The baby beads are made from natural, authentic Baltic amber. Wearing amber necklaces does not cause any unwanted side effects. The beads are rounded and polished so that there are no sharp edges. All amber necklaces are handmade from natural Baltic amber. • 30cm (11.8") - 0 - 20 months
• 31cm (12.2") - 3 months - 2.5 years
• 32cm (12.6") - 6 months - 4 years
• 33cm (13") - 7 months - 5 years
• 34cm (13.4") - 3-7 years
• 35cm (13.8") - 3-9 years
• 36cm (14.2") - 3-12 years
• 37cm (14.6") - 3-14 years

Safety and Terms of Use

• Under 3 years of age, use only under the direct supervision of an adult!
• Beads must be removed when the child is sleeping or unsupervised!
• Keep out of reach of children when not in use!
• Amber beads for babies are for wearing and not for chewing!
• The beads are not intended to be put in the mouth.
• Children under 3 years should not be left unattended with jewellery containing small parts.
• Free from sharp parts (all beads are rounded)
